Actively representing an award winning Microsoft Partner who are looking to add a functional D365 BC specialist to their team in support of a host of new Scotland based projects. This exciting new role will see the successful candidate working on the functional delivery of end to end Business Central projects across a range of interesting customer projects.

Whether already an established BC Consultant within a MS Partner, or looking to utilise BC project experience gained within the end user space, my client offers a brilliant platform to build further BC project experience; working in a like minded team with fantastic progression pathways.

This position is home based, with the requirement of occasional travel to customer site - project phase dependant.

What the role entails:

* Business analysis, functional requirement gathering and process mapping
* Functional design document (FDD) development
* Functional installation, configuration and user acceptance testing
* Key user training, go-live support and post go-live process improvement

Preferable experience required:

* Experience as an implementation consultant or analyst in the functional implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central

* Partner based consultancy experience (will consider candidates with end to end project experience within end user environment)

Functional Consultant - NAV/BC - St. Paul - $120k - Remote Flex

Our client is a well-established food distributor who is looking for a Functional Consultant to play a key role on development, support, reporting, and improvement projects internally.

In preparation for a future upgrade to Dynamics 365 Business Central, they are in need of an inhouse Systems Analyst who can take ownership of their NAV system, along with other applications, and identify paths for improvement.

Your New Role:

* Lead support efforts on the organization's Microsoft NAV ERP
* Design and develop reports, simple pages, and simple customizations for the ERP system using C/AL
* Make code changes, eventually helping to convert C/AL to AL extensions
* Troubleshoot system errors and support users on help desk tickets
* Provide training to users on ERP processes and provide support to internal ERP users and Production floor ERP users.
* Document workflows and identify paths for improvement
* Develop reports, analytics and dashboards Jet Reports, SQL, and Power BI
* Make recommendations and modifications to business applications required for the continual growth of the business.

What You'll Need:

* 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)
* Programming experience. C/AL or AL is a must. Full stack development is a nice to have
* Experience working on Business Central upgrades and implementations preferred, not required
* Understanding of supply chain, warehousing, and distribution processes
* Ability to interface well with users to solve their short and long-term problems
