* Must be able to create reports in Power BI, familiarity with DAX expressions

D365 BC Developer/Technical Consultant - Haderslev

An end user in Haderslev is looking for a D365 BC Developer/Technical consultant to take the lead on their current BC installation. They are a well established business in the food & beverage industry, operating for more than 20 years.

They have a lot of ongoing development to their current system and are gearing up for an upgrade project from BC 14 to the cloud. You would have full autonomy over their BC solution going forward as they handle almost all business in-house.

Role:

* Coordinate on the technical level with other teams to manage dependencies.
* Work with external partners on refinement and development.
* Develop custom C/AL & AL code to implement business requirements.
* Maintain and support custom developed solutions and integration.
* Prepare BC14 for upgrade to the latest version.
* Assist in testing BC changes and creating documentation.
* Drive release deployment planning and execution.

Skills:

* Strong experience with configuration, development, and solution design within NAV and Business Central.
* Professional experience with designing and describing solutions in BC in a complex environment with multiple applications and complex business rules.
* Proficient in AL, C/AL coding
* Ability to create technical specifications and documentation.
* Experience in performing technical tests, creating and maintaining automated and manual tests.
* Can be English speaking, Danish or German speaking is preferred.

Dynamics NAV Developer - Chicago - $85k - Remote

Our client is a top of the line industrial machinery manufacturer in the Detroit area. They are looking for an ERP Developer to play a key technical role in several ongoing NAV projects, as well as provide support, reporting, and programming capabilities for ongoing systems improvement.

Are you a programmer who preferred working with the classic versions of Navision? Prefer going retro as opposed to going to the cloud?

Your New Role

* Build Solutions, primarily through C/AL modifications, but also other programming tools such as C#, SQL, JavaScript, Python, and .NET
* Act as the technical lead for future upgrades
* Solve stakeholder technical issues by building accurate and quality technical designs, as well as using non-code technologies (Power Platform, Excel, etc.)
* Champion best practice standards to build quality code
* Provide technical support for key users, working alongside the organization's in-house ERP team and external VAR
* Use subject matter skills to help guide project development
* Guide team through technical planning and strategy
* All other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

* Experience in a Software Development or Technical Consultant position
* Experience with D365 Business Central (AL extensions) or Navision programming (C/AL)
* Experience with .NET, JavaScript, Visual Basic, and SQL a strong plus
* Ability to interact well with customers to solve their technical issues
* Business Central implementation experience preferred
* Great communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non-technical personnel
* Excellent analytical mindset and problem solving ability
